Ann Phillips

Ann is a Partner at Stone King and specialises in charity law and related issues, encompassing charity formation and advice to charities on constitutional, taxation and governance issues. She also has particular experience of working with charities in the arts and heritage sector.

Ann is a regular contributor of articles to the charity press, a frequent speaker on charity matters and co-author with Michael King of “Charities Act 2006 – Guide to the New Law” (Law Society 2007).

Ann has recently retired as Chairman of the Charity Law Association (2011 to 2014) and was also formerly Chairman of the Legislation Monitoring Service for Charities. She is recognised as one of the leading authorities in the field of arts and heritage.
