Claire Webster Saaremets is founder/artistic director/performer and film maker with Skimstone Arts, a professional multidisciplinary arts organisation which produce collaborative and socially engaging artworks, performances and exhibitions, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Her professional practice reflects 15 years work of over 50 collaborative artistic projects/commissions with more than 5,000 people of all ages, regionally to internationally, by a diverse funder/ stakeholder/ commissioner portfolio. Her theatre/site specific performance work is based on collected stories from the public eg on public transport, care homes and social spaces.
Claire has run workshops, residencies and projects in schools and communities and been a keynote speaker about her collaborative practice at regional, national and European conferences. She has also been a Creative Agent working together with artists and schools, and is still a guest lecturer for universities across the region.
