Creative Partnerships Lithuania

For four years from 2011 – 2014 CCE supported the Creative Partnerships programme in Lithuania which was implemented on a national scale as an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science. It was funded by the European Social Fund and Lithuanian state funds.

CCE worked with a dedicated team within the national Education Development Centre supporting the design, implementation, programme management and quality assurance of the Creative Partnerships programme. CCE also designed and implemented a major professional development initiative for creative professionals and teachers across Lithuania.  In 2014 the programme also operated in 5 socialisation centres in Lithuania  – the first time Creative Partnerships had operated in young offenders settings.

Lithuania Teacher Visit Programme

To complement the national Creative Partnerships programme in Lithuania, teachers had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of creative teaching and learning through a series of week-long visits to schools in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.  The visit programme was managed by CCE working with a number of its key partners in Europe support the programme.   Di Fisher-Naylor, CCE’s Director of Programme Development, accompanied the Lithuanian teachers during the visits and led on induction and reflection sessions for all the participants alongside organising opportunities for participation in arts and cultural activities.
